Mollie King is a broadcaster and presenter, best known as one of BBC Radio 1’s leading DJs. She co-hosts the weekday afternoon show alongside Matt Edmondson and regularly covers The Radio 1 Breakfast Show for Greg James. She also fronts her specialist programme Future Pop on Wednesday evenings, which has championed emerging global stars from Benson Boone to Chappell Roan. Highlights from the show include giving Chappell Roan and Noah Kahan their first ever UK radio plays, as well as spotlighting Benson Boone as a Future Bop six weeks before his first UK number 1. Her radio work has earned industry recognition including Best New Presenter at the 2018 ARIA Radio Academy Awards and a recent shortlist at the 2024 Music Week Awards.

Alongside radio, Mollie has built an extensive television career, presenting programmes including Beauty and the Geek, This Morning and Made in Chelsea: The Reunion. She has hosted major live events such as Radio 1’s Teen Awards, first alongside Nick Grimshaw in 2011 and again in 2019 with Greg James and Maya Jama.

Mollie first shot to fame as a member of the chart-topping girl group The Saturdays, establishing a hugely successful music career before transitioning into broadcasting, where she is now one of the UK’s most recognisable voices across both radio and television.

A longstanding figure in fashion and beauty, she has been a columnist for Marie Claire and InStyle, fronted campaigns as a Maybelline ambassador and collaborated on clothing collections with leading fashion houses.

Beyond broadcasting, Mollie is a passionate campaigner and charity advocate. Diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, she is a proud ambassador for the British Dyslexia Association and has spoken in Parliament about the importance of early diagnosis and educational support. Her charitable work also includes partnerships with Born Free, Mothers2Mothers and REDD, travelling to Ghana to raise awareness and funds for HIV programmes. Mollie also undertook Mollie King’s Pedal Power for Red Nose Day, cycling 500km from London to Hull in memory of her late father and raising over £1.3 million for Comic Relief.
